With his mission accomplished, the German owner put Shenandoah up for sale and she changed hands to her current Italian owner, whose passions have proved just as strong.

Mounted on a wall in the crew mess on board Shenandoah is a map of the world with multiple spider trails crawling over the blue sections that represent the world’s oceans.
